I work on a team of 5 with 65 soul and funk artists, producing and releasing albums and singles, while also handling artist management and marketing. The following is a representation of my work as creative director for soul and funk record label, Colemine Records. I was a part of creative conception, asset management, LP design and copy.

  • Recruited and onboarded high-quality personnel that reached the company's goals, growing the company from a team of 2 to a current team of 6 full-time employees.

  • Created financial analysis sheets for weekly management meetings displaying income and expenses through sales channels such as Shopify, Bandcamp, Paypal, ShippingEasy, Shipstation, and Amazon.

  • Submitted weekly marketing reports for album campaigns showing analytics such as social media growth, web features, radio spins, album ratings, interviews, and editorial playlists.

  • Coordinated with external partners and vendors to ensure timely delivery of jackets, LPs, and merch while maintaining positive relationships.

  • Established conduct and workflow standards across the business specifying each employee's job roles while removing any productivity roadblocks as they emerged.

  • Coordinated with the finance department to manage and track administrative expenses, ensuring they were within budget and assisting in cost-saving measures.

  • Monitor and analyze the performance of initiatives, using weekly data analysis to inform future campaign strategies while making as-needed adjustments

  • Collaborate with marketing and PR teams to promote our artists by using creative marketing through social media, events and partnerships

The Tales People Tell
